By attending programs at Victory Tennis, including but not limited to, group classes, semi and private lessons, matchplay, competitions and events, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
Payment:
Victory Tennis will send you an invoice with payment options including:
Payment for group classes and on-peak private lessons (3-7pm) must be paid in full by the date due on your invoice, usually prior to the start of term (unless a weekly direct debit has been set up). Off-peak private lessons (between 9am-3pm) are payable at the start of the lesson. Please ensure you pay your invoice on time as your place will only be secured once payment has been received. If paying by bank transfer, please ensure the invoice number and player’s full name is written in the description.
Wet Weather & Heat Policy:
Our priority is your safety, and it is at the discretion of Victory Tennis to determine if conditions are safe for play. If declared a washout/too hot for play (above 37 degrees at the tennis club), we will advise parents/players as soon as possible. Please do not assume a group class/private lesson is cancelled due to weather - if you do not hear from us it means the group class/private lesson will still go ahead, and any resulting no show will not be made up, credited or refunded. In the event of a group class/private lesson being cancelled due to weather, Victory Tennis will arrange make-up class/private lesson on an alternative date, or we may ask you to attend a make-up class/private lesson on an alternative day. Please note that we cannot refund/credit fees or arrange individual make up classes if you are unable to attend scheduled group make up classes.
Cancellations:
Private lessons cancelled by parent/players require 6 hours minimum or full fee is payable. Group classes missed due to factors outside of our control (example: holidays, school camps, illness etc.) will not be refunded or credited. Your spot has been reserved on the basis of receiving payment in full, therefore limiting availability for other enquiring players. Victory Tennis may offer a make-up group class/private lesson on an alternative date/day if 24 hours notice has been given and/or a medical certificate provided, however an agreeable make-up group class day and time is not guaranteed (there is a maximum 1 class per term unless a doctors certificate is provided, in which case we will arrange additional make up classes). In the case of long-term injury or illness, a credit will be given if an accompanying medical certificate is provided.
Credits:
Please be aware credits will expire after the following term (e.g credits from term 3 can be used during term 3/4 holidays or during term 4). Your credits can be applied for the same group class/private lesson, or a different group class/private lesson up to its monetary value including holiday programs (e.g if you have missed group classes you may apply this credit to future group classes, private lessons, or holiday programs and this amount will be subtracted from your invoice).
Covid-19:
As always, your safety is of utmost importance to us. Victory Tennis will provide a safe learning environment by following Tennis Victoria’s Covid-19 guidelines and protocols, as well as adhering to any lockdown restrictions. In the event that your group class/private lesson has been affected by lockdown restrictions, we will attempt to complete make-up group classes/private lessons that term, with any remaining make-up group class/private lesson credited to you for future use. It has been a challenging time for all of us, and Victory Tennis appreciates your understanding.
Parental Involvement:
Victory Tennis requests that parents do not enter the court during group classes/private lessons. This allows both the coach and player/s to concentrate entirely on the group class/during lesson, promotes independence and decision making skills, and helps to build the player to coach relationship.
Privacy Policy:
Your privacy is important to us. The data you give Victory Tennis will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever without your consent. The email address you provide may be used to send information regarding programs and special offers, help make payment options easier, respond to inquiries, questions and requests, or for other communicative purposes.
Photography & Video Images Waiver:
I give full consent for Victory Tennis to take photos and/or videos during programs, group classes/private lessons, competitions and events. I acknowledge and agree that this usage, including for marketing and promotion purposes, is without compensation or notice to myself. Images and/or videos may be used on the Victory Tennis website, social media accounts and other digital or hard copy promotional material. I also acknowledge and consent for these images and/or videos to be used in technical and/or tactical analysis to help further explain concepts to players and/or parents.
Medical & Liability Waiver:
I hereby authorise the staff of Victory Tennis to act for me according to their best judgment in any emergency requiring medical attention. I release Victory Tennis from any and all liability for injury or illness, and any costs incurred while undertaking programs or events with Victory Tennis.
